Who can you sponsor?
Golden Visa holders can sponsor their spouse, children of any age (including married daughters and sons with disabilities), and parents — including parents-in-law in some cases.
What family members receive
Each sponsored family member receives residency matching the validity of the primary holder's visa — 5 or 10 years — and enjoys the same freedom to work, study or start a business in the UAE.
Required documents
You'll need an attested marriage certificate for a spouse, attested birth certificates for children, and proof of relationship for parents, along with passport copies and passport photos for each applicant.
Step-by-step process
Once the primary Golden Visa is approved, sponsorship applications can be submitted in parallel or shortly after. Each family member completes their own medical fitness test and biometrics appointment before receiving their Emirates ID.
